Nebraska Task Force One heads home from Texas after aid due to flooding

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska Task Force One (NE-TF1) is heading home after a week in Live Oak County, Texas.
The task force arrived on July 20 with a 45 member crew.
NE-TF1 went door-to-door to 106 households to inform residents and confirm evacuation plans.
The members also canvassed nearly 250 properties, running water and aerial reconnaissance on the river and checking the condition of bridges.
For the week they were in Texas, the task force also ran date from the gauge and terrain data and reconnaissance findings. Rescue teams and rapid response crews remained ready at all times.
