Morrill Hall suffers from flooding after storms hit Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The University of Nebraska State Museum – Morrill Hall is closed today, July 28, and half of tomorrow. Flooding occurred after significant storms hit Lincoln overnight.
Morrill Hall said the damage is contained to their carpet and flooring on the first floor, with no damage to exhibits as of current assessment.
They state there is a few display cases that will need repaired, along with their carpets.
Morrill Hall thanked Paul Davis Restoration for their assistance. They said an update on the status of the flooding, carpets and repairs will be provided tomorrow.
