LPD asks for public’s help finding missing person that was possibly abducted

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department asked for the public’s help locating a missing person.

Stephanie Fisher, 41, was last seen being forced into a black 2008 Ford Expedition without plates. This happened near South 1st and P streets around 3:40 p.m. today, Aug. 13.

LPD said they are investigating as a possible abduction. According to them, she is believed to be with Tate Wright, 46, a white male.

Fisher was last seen wearing a black tank top, light colored shorts and sandals while carrying a blue and white bag.

LPD advises the public to call (402) 441-6000 if anyone sees her or 911 in an emergency.

UPDATE Aug. 13, 6:40 p.m.:

Both Fischer and Wright were located at a local motel. Fisher has minor injuries and is receiving medical treatment. Wright is in custody.
