Portions of several Lincoln streets will close starting Sunday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Starting this Sunday, Aug. 16, portions of several streets will be closed.

First, 14th Street between W and Vine streets and Vine Street between 14th to 16th streets will be closed Sunday, Aug. 16 to Wednesday, Aug. 19. This is due to University of Nebraska-Lincoln students moving in.

Second, 14th Street between P and Q streets will be closed starting Monday, Aug. 17, through Thursday, Aug. 20. This closure is for Project O Street.

Finally, Q Street between 9th and 10th streets will be closed for student move in from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 17.

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities urges residents to be cautious around the closures.
