Bystanders hold down man who tried to run from crash scene in north Lincoln

Lincoln Police said witnesses held down a man who tried to run from the scene of an accident in north Lincoln.
The crash happened around 9 a.m. near Cotner and Adams Street.
LPD said Lars Bowen, 32, jumped out of his car and tried to run from the scene, but witnesses held Bowen until officers arrived and arrested him.
Bowen punched one of the people holding him down in the face, police said.
Bowen was cited and lodged for leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving. He was also ticketed for refusing a chemical test (DUI).
