York PD seeing recent increase in DUI arrests

YORK, Neb. (KLKN) — York Police Department (YPD) announced a recent increase in driving under the influence (DUI) arrests.

YPD said they have a zero-tolerance approach to impaired driving, stating that the message is clear: if an individual has been drinking, don’t drive.

They also urged other drivers to help them keep the roads safe. YPD said if you sees something unusual that may indicate impaired driving, call it in.

“Your call could prevent a crash, serious injury or save a life,” YPD said.
