NEGOP and Ricketts honor Charlie Kirk one year after passing
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Today marks one year passing of right-wing media personality Charlie Kirk’s death.
Sen. Pete Ricketts states that his impact will not be forgotten.
“One year ago, we lost Charlie Kirk,” Ricketts stated. “Charlie was a fearless voice for faith, freedom and the principles that make America great. his impact on the next generation of Americans will not be forgotten. Today, we continue to pray for his family and honor his lasting legacy.”
The Nebraska Republican Party (NEGOP) released a statement in remembrance of Kirk.
“Charlie walked onto the most hostile campuses in America and defended God, family and country to anyone who would listen,” NEGOP Chair Mary Jane Truemper. “He was fearless, he was kind and he was right. He was murdered for it. A year later, Nebraska has not forgotten him and we have not forgotten why he was taken.”
