Nebraska quarterback Colandrea named Offensive Player of the Week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska Cornhuskers starting quarterback Anthony Colandrea has been named Big Ten’s Offensive Player of the Week.

Colandrea completed 20 of 24 passes for 224 yards in the Husker’s second home game this past weekend.

By the end of the game against Bowling Green, Colandrea had achieved a career-high of four touchdown passes. He now ranks second nationally in points responsible per game, ninth in passing touchdowns and 21st in passing efficiency.
