LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lancaster County Republican Party Chair, Jack Riggins, is calling for the resignation of Treasurer Rachel Garver after Nebraska State Auditor Mike Foley’s report stated $1 billion in mistakes.

Riggins is also demanding Former Chief Deputy Kristen Anderson withdrawal from the District Court Clerk race.

“Nearly $1 billion in accounting blunders, systematic errors, and the gross mishandling of local tax revenues are not minor paperwork issues — they represent a serious failure of stewardship of the public’s trust and money,” Riggins stated.

Riggins said the Lancaster County Republican Party stands with taxpayers in the county and that these taxpayers deserve more than a minimum response.
