Warmer Wednesday Before Widespread Rain
7am-noon: Spotty light rain showers will occur across eastern Nebraska. Some sunshine should hopefully begin to show once these showers move out.
High temperatures ranging from 72° – 82° with dew points in the 50s/60s! A bit warmer due to sunshine & the SE winds gusting to near 30-40 mph!
SE winds will be quite windy farther west. Wind gusts up to 30-40 mph through the morning & afternoon hours.
7pm-midnight: Showers & T-storms form out west & SW. Rain activity begins to spread eastward overnight into Thursday morning. Expect a WET commute these next few morning.
THURSDAY 5-9am: Showers & T-storms occur mainly across eastern & NE Nebraska. Expect a WET commute Thursday morning & evening. Some heavier rain bands across NE Nebraska.
THURSDAY noon-5pm: Showers & T-storms begin to get lighter in nature. Some heavier bands farther north & SE.
FRIDAY MORNING: Scattered T-STORMS & heavy rain will occur across much of SE Nebraska. Expect another WET commute Friday!
Temperatures look to stay near 67° – 80° through the rest of September! *Morning temperatures look to stay near 47° – 60°! Some areas could see their first 30s the 1st week of October. The best rain chances come Thursday-Saturday morning. A decent storm system brings storms next Monday-Tuesday along with our coldest air this season!
