LPD searching for suspects who vandalized fuel tanks

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is investigating multiple recent cases of fuel tanks being vandalized.

According to LPD, four fuel tanks over the past six weeks have either had holes drilled into them or had gas siphoned from them. There are 12 cases in total with two occurring in the past week.

LPD said the impact on the victims is estimated at $6,350 in damage and more than $600 worth of gasoline.
