Rainy & Cool Through Saturday

Rain chances in Lincoln & across SE Nebraska will begin after 11am-noon! School pickup will likely be rainy across much of eastern Nebraska.

7am-Noon: Showers & T-storms occur from SW->NE. Expect a WET commute Thursday morning & evening. Some heavier rain bands near the Tri-Cities & across NE Nebraska.

1-6pm: Heavier rain bands could begin as a few T-storms begin to develop along, N->S of I-80. Some spots will have a lull during this period. SE Nebraska will likely see decent rain during this time.

7pm-midnight: Showers & T-STORMS slowly erode as they move more across SE Nebraska. Friday brings MORE rain!

FRIDAY MORNING: Scattered showers & a few thunderstorms will occur across much of SE Nebraska. Expect another WET commute Friday! This activity will continue through Friday afternoon & evening.

Rainfall totals through 7am SATURDAY look to range from 2″-3.5″+ from SW->NE. Localized areas of 4.0″ could be possible especially within reoccurring storms.

Temperatures look to stay near 65° – 76° through the next 10 days! *Morning temperatures look to stay near 47° – 62°! Some areas could see their first 30s the 1st week of October. The best rain chances come Today-Saturday morning & again next Monday night-Tuesday. Next weeks storm system could bring some of our coldest air this season!
