LPD investigating after Lincoln man held at knifepoint during robbery

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is investigating a robbery that occurred outside of a Kwik Shop on Holdrege Street.

Around 4 a.m. on Sept. 26, officers responded to a report of a 41-year-old Lincoln man being robbed.

According to LPD, the victim told officers that he was there to meet one of the suspects. Two men got into his vehicle and then held a knife to his neck.

The victim attempted to push the knife away which caused cuts to his fingers. He then got out of his vehicle.

The men drove off with the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was located about five miles away from the scene. $500 in cash was missing.
