VIDEO: Crews battle large fire near I-80
The Nebraska Stat Patrol says the fire is between Gothenburg and Cozad near mile marker 216 on Interstate 80.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Emergency crews responded Thursday afternoon to a large fire in central Nebraska.
The Nebraska State Patrol says the fire started between Gothenburg and Cozad near mile marker 216 on Interstate 80.
Eastbound lanes were closed down for a time, but the Nebraska Department of Transportation says they have reopened.
Crews remained on the scene Thursday afternoon monitoring the scene.
This is the time of year we start to see grassfires across Nebraska.
