RECORD WARMTH & WINDY today across the state! High temperatures ranging from 84° – 93° with dew points in the 40s & 50s! SW winds will pick up Friday afternoon/night.
Lincoln could break a 98 year old record from 1928! The previous record was 90° & the forecasted high today is 91°!
This afternoon, SW winds will gust up to 20–25+ mph across Nebraska. Wind gusts will reach 35-40+ mph through this weekend.
Husker Gameday will be a windy & warm game! Temperatures in the 80s & 90s with sustained south winds staying near 20-25 mph & gusts up to 35-40+ mph.
Much of eastern Nebraska will experience the strongest winds Saturday afternoon!
Our next BIG CHANGE & rain/storm chances come next Wednesday-Thursday. Some SEVERE weather could occur across SE Nebraska as this system moves in Wednesday evening.
