Blue Blood Brewing sued over alleged unpaid rent

A popular Lincoln brewery is being sued for not paying rent on time, according to court documents. 

The lawsuit, filed Friday in Lancaster County Court by Robbers Cave LLC, alleges Blue Blood owes $25,590 in unpaid rent and late fees. 

Robbers Cave is seeking judgement in that amount, plus interest and other fees that accrue each month.

The minimum fixed monthly rent under the company’s lease is $13,471, according to the lawsuit. 

In the lawsuit, Robbers Cave demands Blue Blood and owner Brian Podwinski vacate the property, located near 10th and High Street, saying the proper legal notice was served.
