LPD hosting two Halloween events for Lincoln community
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is hosting two Halloween-themed events this week for the Lincoln community.
The first event is on Tuesday, Oct. 27. It is the eighth annual Lincoln Police Union Trunk-or-Treat. The event is at Sandhills Global Event Center and is from 4 to 8 p.m.
The second event is on Thursday, Oct. 29. It is the third annual LPD and Lincoln Fire and Rescue Halloween Swearing-In. The event is at 6601 Pine Lake Road and requires an RSVP because of limited parking. There will be two sessions between 6 and 7:30 p.m.
Both events are free to the public and indoors.
LPD says the events are family-friendly and encourages the community to come celebrate with them.
