Lincoln artists bring hope to those ready for spring

If you have seen these spray painted flowers in downtown Lincoln, David Rabe and Christine Scott are the artists behind them.

Like many of us, they are both over the cold and ready for spring.

“I wanted flowers, we miss spring,” said Scott.

“I saw it on a Facebook post a couple days ago and I just wanted to do it and everyone was complaining about the cold and I just lost it, we had to draw flowers,” Rabe said.

Rabe said he had flowers blooming at the beginning of March 2 years ago.
