Lincoln Police arrest man with meth, machete

Lincoln Police officers responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 500 block of South 7th Street early Thursday morning arrested a man who police said had drugs and a machete. 

LPD said Justin Hudson, 41, was sleeping in the car when officers found him. 

Hudson had a glass meth pipe on the passenger seat, 2.7 grams of meth in a baggie, and a 16-inch machete between his seat and the car door, according to police. 

Hudson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of deadly weapon by a prohibited person, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
