Man cited for putting wet paper all over neighbor’s car

Lincoln Police cited a man who they say admitted he put pieces of wet paper all over his neighbor’s car.

LPD said a 28-year-old man reported on Monday the paper was put on his car in the 4600 block of Tipperary Trail.

The victim believed his neighbor was responsible, as the two had prior disputes, according to Lincoln Police.

The neighbor, identified as Dana Turner, told police he had done it because the car was parked on the wrong side of the road during the snow parking ban.

When officers asked why he didn’t call them to resolve the issue, Turner reportedly said he “didn’t think of it,” and that police probably had “other things to do.”

The victim told police it took him hours to scrape all the paper off his vehicle.

Turner was cited for disturbing the peace.
