Proposed apartment complex fails to pass Lincoln City Council vote

The City Council voted to deny a plan to build a four story complex near 27th and Pine Lake.

The proposal failed a 3 to 4 vote Monday.

Krueger Developments wanted to build two mixed use buildings. The buildings would’ve included apartments, commercial space, and underground parking.

Nearby neighbors in the Porter Ridge West Townhomes Association opposed the proposed 50-foot tall and 300-foot wide buildings, saying the buildings wouldn’t keep in scale with the neighborhood.

This is the second time the proposal has been up for vote. Last summer the council approved the plan but, Mayor Beutler vetoed the proposal.
