City of Lincoln street condition update

According to the City of Lincoln at 4:45 Tuesday morning. twenty city crews are patrolling emergency snow routes, arterial streets and school and bus routes through 8 a.m., applying granular salt pre-wet with brine. 

Arterial streets range from wet to partially snow covered for the morning commute.  Drivers should be alert for slick spots caused by frost, especially on untreated streets and sidewalks.

Slow down, and allow extra travel time and following distance.

A winter weather advisory ended at midnight. The chance of mixed precipitation with some light icing and snow accumulation remains possible.
