Officers use Taser, K9 to subdue Texas man who resisted arrest

With the help of a K9, officers took a Texas man into custody after he reportedly fled from a traffic stop.
On Saturday, an investigator with the Interdiction Task Force stopped a vehicle on I-80 near mile marker 391.
The driver, who officials identified as Steven Green, 40, of Texas, reportedly ran from investigators and resisted their attempts to stop him.
At one point, a Taser was used, which officials said no effect on Green as he jumped a fence near the interstate and ran towards a tree line.
A K9 named Mikey was brought to the scene to help find Green, and was released when Green began fighting with an officer, officials said.
Mikey latched onto Green, who then began choking the dog with its collar, officials said.
Green reportedly continued to resist, but was eventually subdued and taken into custody.
Neither Mikey or the officer were seriously injured.
Green was arrested on several charges.
Officials said around $22,000 in cash, along with evidence of marijuana, was found in Green’s car.
