THOMAS M. HEISER, MD
Dr. Thomas M. Heiser, M.D. is an Orthopaedic Team Physician for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Known as Touchdown Tommy by many of his football fans as a Columbus, NE native, Dr. Tom Heiser attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln having played wing-back for the Husker Football Team. Once obtaining his medical degree at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, Dr. T. Heiser conducted his orthopaedic residency and surgical internship at the University of Kansas, School of Medicine. Advancing his orthopaedic and sports medicine skills further, he moved onto the nationally recognized Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic for orthopaedic fellowship training in sports medicine. While there, Dr. Heiser functioned as Team Physician for Loyola Marymount University, and currently is an Orthopaedic Team Physician for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Dr. T. Heiser continues to champion a career as an orthopaedic physician utilizing his exquisite diagnostic knowledge and experience in managing the care of the orthopaedic and athletic patient.
