NU’s Bounds, Green issue vote of confidence for AD Bill Moos

Amid widespread rumors circulating online, two of UNL’s top administrators have issued a vote of confidence for the Athletic Director Bill Moos.

“In his first 15 months, Bill has done a great job guiding our athletic department,” NU president Hank Bounds and UNL chancellor Ronnie Green said in a joint statement Tuesday morning. “He has our full support, and we look forward to his continued strong leadership.”

Earlier this week, rumors began popping up on various social media sites talking about Moos’ job security. 

None of the rumors have been substantiated by the university or media outlets.

Moos was hired on October 15, 2017, to replace former AD Shawn Eichorst.
