Lincoln attorney recognized for helping military personnel

A Lincoln attorney got some recognition Monday.

The group Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve presented its Patriot Award to John Stevens Berry of Berry Law Firm.

Berry helps military members get reemployed when they come back from deployment..

Berry said he was very honored.

“To be able to work with veterans— as well as current military members that are in the guard and reserves — it’s phenomenal,” he said.  “These guys come motivated every day, they bring high standards and they do great things to improve our culture.”

Berry said he’s motivated to have a working relationship with military members because his own experience in the military and what he’s learned from it.
