Possible smoky Sunday for eastern Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Another weekend of prescribed burns in Kansas and Oklahoma could affect air quality in eastern Nebraska.
The burns are done to manage prairie and rangelands. The advisory would begin Sunday at 8 p.m. and last until Monday at 10 a.m. Lincoln, Beatrice, Omaha, and surrounding areas will likely be affected.
During moderate smoke conditions, sensitive groups should limit outdoor work or exercise.
