Officials: 2-year-old boy dies after being run over by at his home

Officials said a two-year-old DeWitt boy has died after being run over by a vehicle in the family’s driveway. 

The Gage County Sheriff’s Office said that officials responded to a home east of DeWitt around 1 p.m. Saturday and found the boy in the driveway. 

GCSO said the 2-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Officials said it was an accident.
