HyperBowling: a new way to play the lanes

Head down to Sun Valley Lanes at 321 Victory Ln. to experience a new way to bowl.
It’s called HyperBowling, and it’s exclusive to Lincoln.
If you’re not the best bowler around, don’t worry; this new game keeps the bumpers up, and according to Sun Valley Lanes owner John Losito, the objectives are much different.
“There’s color targets on the lanes, and those color targets multiply your score. It’s based on a video game premise, so there’s multiple levels and stars, and it’s just a really fun, unique way to bowl, even if you’re not a great bowler”, Losito said.
There are four different games of HyperBowling to choose from. One is for more advanced bowlers, two are for beginners, leaving the winner completely up to chance and offering a lot of fun for the whole family, and the fourth is a team game called HyperSquad, which Losito described as a type of “Capture the Flag” game.
Sun Valley Lanes was the first bowling alley in the world to adopt HyperBowling, thanks in part to being a beta tester for QubicaAMF, which allows them to be the first in trying out the latest and greatest bowling technology.
“When this idea for HyperBowling came, I was signed on right away because I thought wow, this would just be fun, it’d be fun to do”, Losito said.
All 32 of Sun Valley’s lanes are capable of HyperBowling.
You can come in to try it out any time Sun Valley Lanes offers open bowling.
