People rush to car washes during warmer weather

With the nice weather, car washes were busy Thursday in Lincoln.

Jet Splash on Highway 2 and Pioneers Blvd. said they had 92 customers come through between 1-2 p.m. alone.

Lots of folks were there getting the dust and grime off and vacuuming the insides of their vehicles.

Customers also noticed the rush to get cleaned up.

“Is everybody still off for the holidays?” Sheri Douglas said.  “I wouldn’t think so.  Fifty degree weather?  I drive a lot, so I have to wash it every week or so.”

And as you heard, lot of people taking advantage of the nice temperatures.
