Lincoln man hosts watch party for documentary he appears in

A documentary aired Friday night that a Lincoln man appears in.

Capital Cigar Lounge CEO Tony Goins hosted a watch party for the documentary he’s in, called The Way Up.

It’s a film about NFL players and military vets teaming up to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to benefit the Waterboys project, which works to build wells providing clean drinking water in Tanzania.

“I’m more excited about the awareness that this two–hour–long special is going to bring to the world about the plight of the Tanzanian people and the platform Waterboys has created in order to supply clean water to the kids and the people of Tanzania,” Goins said.

Goins said Waterboys aims to get clean water to 1 million Tanzanians.
