Lincoln girl holds book drive online

11-year-old Hanna Tagge was doing community service for her church when she started a book drive for kids.
In just a couple of days, she collected 370 books from people as far as New York.
In November, with the help of mom, Hanna started the book drive in a Facebook group called “Hanna’s Hours of Giving.” It took off quickly.
Hanna’s aunt works for an online book website called UsBorne, so they shared on Facebook what they were doing and why, and people began to buy books or they would donate money, and Hanna could pick out the book.
Hanna started doing this during the holiday season when she realized how lucky she is.
“During the holidays you think “this is what I want, and this is what I want and this is what I’m going to ask for,” like probably as most kids do, but then I also thought, there are also kids who don’t have the opportunity to say “I want this, I want that,” Hanna said.
