One dead in South Dakota plane crash

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – One person is dead after a single-engine airplane crashed into a neighborhood in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

It happened on Tuesday, just after 5:00 p.m.

According to South Dakota newspaper The Argus Leader, officials believe the person who died was on board the plane.

Those who live in the area said the crash shook their entire home.

Four families were evacuated from their homes, with two of those houses receiving substantial damage.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash, as well as if any more passengers were on the plane.
