Stolen car crashed into north Lincoln home

A stolen car was found crashed into the side of a north Lincoln home Sunday night, according to Lincoln Police.

LPD says the car was reported stolen from a home near 31st and U Street. 

A man went outside to start three vehicles to warm them up, then went back inside. 

When he came out a short time later, he saw someone driving away in a 2004 black BMW, police say. 

Police said the BMW was found around 11:30 p.m., wedged under the porch of a home near 27th and Holdrege. 

LPD said the car, which was still stuck under the porch as of Monday morning, could not be moved because it was supporting the building.
