Owners of Venue announce new Mexican restaurant to open in October

The owners of Venue Restaurant & Lounge have announced the opening of a new Mexican restaurant. 

PILLAR Restaurant Group, which also owns Piedmont Bistro and Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs in Lincoln, announced it will open Cactus Mexican & Cantina by Venue. 

The restaurant, which will be located near 56th and Highway 2, will open in late October, the group said in a Facebook post. 

The groups says it will be “a family oriented restaurant that combines flavors of Mexican cuisine with modern ideas and fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, with a cantina bar, private dining room and spacious patio.” 

An exact opening date, menu and website will be coming soon. 

The Facebook post also said people who like, comment and share the new restaurant’s pages on social media will be entered to win a spot in a soft opening night. 

The post also said the restaurant will be hiring.

The hiring days are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Venue Restaurant & Lounge on Monday October 1st, Tuesday October 2nd, and Thursday October 3rd.
