Crete woman killed in I-80 crash identified
A Crete woman was killed and another injured in a crash Sunday on I-80 near Lincoln.
According to a Lincoln Police accident report, Lourdes Bautista, 22, died at the scene of the crash near Exit 401 east of the Lincoln Airport.
Police say the vehicle collided with a concrete median and traveled north across traffic and went down an embankment before colliding with a concrete drain cover.
The passenger, Sophia Mendonza, also of Crete, was transported to Bryan West Hospital.
She is listed as being in critical but stable condition.
