Lincoln woman’s car, wedding dress stolen

A Lincoln woman’s car was stolen, but what was inside at the time may hold even more value.

Lincoln Police say officers responded to the burglary call at a home near 20th and Pepper Avenue around 8:00 a.m.

A couple living at the home said they had locked their door before going to bed, but woke up to find it open.

The 27-year-old woman told police her car keys were missing from her living room table and her silver 2009 Mazda Tribute was missing from her driveway.

The woman said her wedding dress was inside the car when it was stolen.

Credit cards and two computers were also stolen from inside the victim’s home.

The woman received an alert from her bank that her stolen credit card was used at a truck stop in Rockport, MO.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help with costs for a new dress. You can find it here: https://www.gofundme.com/replacing-a-stolen-wedding-dress
