UPDATE: Woman killed after falling out of truck in Lincoln identified

The woman who was killed after she fell out of a truck in northwest Lincoln has been identified.

Lincoln Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister tells Channel 8 the woman is 25-year-old Amanda Terrell of Lincoln.

Police said the driver, 31-year-old Seth Noble, was arrested for DUI. He has not been charged with any crime related to Terrell’s death.

Police are still investigating the accident.


Lincoln Police are investigating a fatality accident that happened Wednesday at 6:00 p.m near 19th and Adams.

Officer Angela Sands said a 25-year-old Lincoln woman died after she fell from a truck, suffering life threatening injuries to her face and head. 

Police believe the tire of the vehicle may have run over her head. 

She was the passenger in the vehicle. The investigation into whether or not the woman jumped intentionally or if this was an accident. 

The driver, Seth Noble, was arrested.
