Bystander tried to save woman killed after falling from truck

Lincoln Police are investigating a fatality accident that happened Wednesday at 6:00 p.m near 19th and Adams.
Officer Angela Sands said a 25-year-old Lincoln woman died after she fell from a truck, suffering life threatening injuries to her face and head.
Police believe the tire of the vehicle may have run over her head.
She was the passenger in the vehicle.
Police are investigating whether or not the woman jumped intentionally or if this was an accident.
The driver, Seth Noble, was cited on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Channel 8 Eyewitness News talked exclusively with a man who worked at a nearby business.
He came upon the scene shortly after the woman fell and tried to save her life.
He did not want to be identified because he says he doesn’t want any recognition for his efforts.
"I just got off work late I went around back to head home saw a truck stopped… and saw the girl laying there on the ground in the middle of the street so I rushed over," he said.
The man told Channel 8 Eyewitness News he checked the woman’s pulse but found nothing, then attempted CPR, reviving the woman for a short time.
He said he stabilized the woman’s neck and worked with another man to move her from the road.
The man said he’d experienced similar situations with family members who experienced seizures, including his daughter and mother.
"I don’t really panic," he said. "I got a little girl that has issues every so often she’s had a few seizures in her life I have a mom that’s been through 5 strokes in her life and couple of them right front of us. So I don’t (panic), I just try to keep my head on my shoulders and do what’s gotta be done."
