Drunk 19-year-old crashes through barrier wall and chain link fence

Lincoln Police were called to the 600 block of West Q Street on reports of a loud crash. 

It happened at midnight Sunday morning. 

Police found a black Cadillac Escalade had driven through a wooden barrier wall at end of Q Street, through a chain link fence and into a parking lot causing extensive damage. 

While searching the car officers found beer, vodka, a bloody shirt and a Nebraska state identification car, but the driver was nowhere to be found.

Shortly after the crash, police got a call that a drunk young man with no shirt and injuries to the chest was trespassing at 801 W O Street near NW Roundhouse Drive. 

Police found 19-Year-old Christian Chavez. He was arrested for DUI and MIP.
