UPDATE: Scheels Ferris Wheel Unveiling

UPDATE:

The new Scheels location hasn’t opened its door just yet, but they gave Channel 8 a sneak peek at the ferris wheel they’ll have available.

It’s 65 feet tall and has 16 carts.  Each ride will cost one dollar.

Scheels said you can buy products anywhere, but what they’re providing with this is a place where you can shop and enjoy spending time with others.

"’What can you do with your family that you just can’t do anywhere else?’," said Scheels store leader Louie Sikich.  "And so that’s what we’re trying to offer.  You know, come here, enjoy your time, get what you need and give back to the community by keeping our money local."

The new Scheels store will also include a toy store, candy store and arcade games, along with all their sporting goods.

Its grand opening will be September 27th.
