UPDATE: Lincoln Police investigating three armed robberies

UPDATE: Four suspects are in custody, and Lincoln Police are still searching for one.

The stolen vehicle and the robber’s vehicle have been recovered.

A handgun has also been recovered. 


Lincoln Police are currently investigating three armed robberies around Lincoln.

The first happened at 1:19 a.m. at 18 & D Streets.

A taxi driver was approached by four males who had a handgun.

The men robbed the victim of his wallet and fled.

The second happened at Fountain Glenn apartments at 2:12 a.m.

The victim was robbed at gunpoint and suspects fled.

The third happened at the Casey’s General Store at 9th & South St.

The suspects stole a vehicle and officers pursued them.

Three suspects are currently in custody and police are searching for one who fled from the stolen vehicle in the area of 32nd & Randolph. 

The suspect is believed to be armed.

Police have established a perimeter and K-9 units are on scene. 

All of the robberies are related.
