Two arrests made at the Sharon Motel

Two arrests made at the Sharon Motel at 1717 Cornhusker highway after reports of a man threatening to shoot people.
 
23 year-old Chase Bass was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm, and 27-year-old Rachael Higgins was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a stolen firearm.

There was a strong odor or marijuana emitting from a room and a search warrant was obtained. Officers located a stolen 9mm handgun, marijuana, methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

"The caller said the man was in possession of a stolen gun. They have a second gun in his hotel room and was under the influence of methamphetamines. Officers made contact with three men and two women inside the hotel room," said Officer Angela Sands. 

No one was injuried.
