UPDATE: Black Hills Energy responding to damaged gas line on O Street
UPDATE:
A part of O Street was shut down Friday afternoon.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue said a crew hit a gas line near 63rd and O streets.
Eastbound traffic near Lyncrest Drive was closed for two hours.
Black Hills Energy came in and took care of the problem.
O Street opened back up around 4:30 p.m.

Black Hills Energy responded to a report of a damaged natural gas line shortly before 3:00 p.m. today near 61st and O Street.
Technicians are working to safely repair the damaged gas line and traffic flow on the east side of the street from Lyncrest Drive to 63rd Street will be disrupted until the gas line can be repaired.
