Two people were arrested for fraud, it was started when they stole a purse at Panera.

Then, they went to the Super Target at 40th and Yankee Hill and attempted to make several large purchases.

But Target employees got suspicious and wouldn’t confirm the transactions, the suspects then left the Super Target.

The employees emailed their photos to police and to other Lincoln Targets.

A little later the police were told the pair were inside the Target at 48th and O, and that’s where police arrested the two suspects.

Officer Angela Sands said, "It’s the diligence of the employees trusting their gut and calling in the loss prevention team and alerting the other stores and then Target calling us while they were still inside that lead us to be able to arrest them. It was a team effort that helped make Lincoln safer."

Police also discovered they took another purse from Whole Foods, And used credit cards inside to buy an IPad from Best Buy.

All the cards and merchandise purchased were recovered.
