Sheriff Wagner celebrates over 40 years

One man has been fighting crime for 42 years!
On this date in 1976 Sheriff Terry Wagner was hired as a radio dispatcher.
He went on to become a deputy, a sergeant, and then elected sheriff in 1994.
He says a lot has changed thru the years.
"It’s just amazing to see the changes that have taken place in the last 42 years.
Our first patrol cars didn’t have AM radios. I think my patrol car was the first year we had air conditioning in them, said Terry Wagner with the Lancaster County Sheriff Office."
Wagner begins his 43rd year in the business.
He’s running unopposed again in November for his seventh term as sheriff.
