UPDATE: 1 flown to hospital after crash near Bennet

Emergency crews are on the scene of a reported car vs. semi crash south of Bennet. 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Emergency crews are on the scene of a reported car vs. semi crash south of Bennet.

The crash happened shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday near 162nd and Roca Rd.

Authorities on the scene tell Channel 8 the person in the car was taken to a local hospital by a medical helicopter.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
