Gas leak causes street closures near downtown
The leak started around 12:30 p.m. near 8th and K St.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Some streets are closed near downtown Lincoln as crews work to repair a gas leak.
The leak started around 12:30 p.m. near 8th and K St.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue officials on scene say westbound lanes of Rosa Parks Way and 8th St. from J to K Streets are currently closed.
It’s unclear when the leak will be fixed and the streets will be reopened.
Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
