LPD shooting investigation leads to road closures in downtown Lincoln

Avoid the area of 14th and O street through the morning

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – An overnight shooting has part of downtown Lincoln closed off to cars and pedestrians.

Lincoln Police put out the word on social media. They said they are investigating a shooting, but gave no further details of the shooting.

They did ask people to avoid 14th Street from N to P and O Street from 13th to Centennial Mall, as those roads are closed through the morning.
