NSP: Phelps Deputy arrested for assault and child abuse

Authorities said a Phelps County Sheriff’s Deputy was arrested Friday on multiple charges. 

The Nebraska State Patrol said Deputy Jamie Tilson was arrested for third degree assault and child abuse. The alleged crimes occurred on September 3, 2019 in Holdrege, the patrol said. 

NSP was asked by the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office to investigate.  

Tilson was lodged in Phelps County Jail.
